Salvation Prayer

  • Have you ever made Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life? If not, pray this prayer and start a new life in Christ. Dear God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus. I admit that I am not right with You, and I want to be right with You. I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that “Jesus is Lord”, and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead; I will be saved (Romans 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is the Lord and Savior of my life. Thank you for saving me! In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Numbers 27: 1-7

  • Zelophehad, of the tribe of Manasseh had five daughters and no sons. Their names were: Mahlah, meaning "sickness or disease"; Noah, meaning "rest or comfort"; Hoglah, meaning "partridge or boxer"; Milcah, meaning "queen of counsel"; and Tirzah, meaning "pleasantness." If we accept theses women's names as pictures of their abilities, natures, or the adversities they had overcome, we see all the qualities they had overcome, we see all the qualities necessary for the tenacity, tact, courage, wisdom and grace they needed to request and receive – an inheritance for themselves. The power of their example is in their wisdom of trusting God to see that they were not denied. The five daughters manifest a balance between a spirit of confrontation and a spirit of cooperation. Confronting the enemy and cooperating with God. They trusted in God allowing Him to be their Deliverer and Provider and in Him receiving their inheritance. So it will be with the Daughters of Z!
